Last November, EKU Campus Recreation brought the very first “color run” to Richmond. We enjoyed seeing the participants start the race in clean shirts and cross the finish line covered in a variety of neon powders. The November race attracted and entertained more than a thousand racers and donated a portion of its proceeds to The Special Olympics of Kentucky.
We were very excited that they decided to move the event to spring and jumped on board as fast as we could. The race will be on April 5th, 2014. In addition to The Special Olympics of Kentucky, it will also contribute to The Ronald McDonald House this year. It’s going to be fun, we hope to see you there!
